My name is Katrin Linnemann – and I am an animal person at heart.
Animals have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Throughout my childhood and up to my 35th year of life, I lived with cats – first in my parents' home, later in my own.
About six years ago, a dog came into my life who became not only my daily companion and best friend, but also the catalyst for my current career path.
For the winter months, I moved to Spain, where I am actively involved in animal welfare. I regularly support a local animal shelter, organize fundraising campaigns, and work to sustainably improve the situation of dogs and cats.
I am truly grateful for any support. With your donations, I regularly help animal shelters here in Spain and try to help where it is needed most. I share transparently on Instagram and here on the blog what happens with the funds and where your help makes a difference.
Unfortunately, my own dog did not stay healthy.
Just one year after her arrival, a long period of suffering began: severe reflux, heavy vomiting episodes, and recurring problems. I took her to numerous veterinarians in different countries – treatments ranged from injections to antibiotics, without truly solving the cause.
Only after nearly two years did I come across a dog nutrition consultant who explained in detail that the problems were food-related – caused by low-quality ingredients and additives in commercial pet food.
After switching to a high-quality, species-appropriate food, the symptoms disappeared completely – and have not returned to this day. This is exactly where my motivation comes from.
This experience deeply shook me and motivated me at the same time. I began to intensively study the pet food industry, ingredients, labeling, and the actual needs of dogs and cats.
The logical consequence: my training as a dog nutrition consultant.
Today, my mission is to share knowledge about healthy, species-appropriate dog and cat nutrition in an understandable way. I want to empower pet owners to:
“Because healthy nutrition is not a matter of belief – it is the foundation for a long, vital animal life.”
Dog and cat nutrition tailored to their natural needs.
Education about ingredients and pet food quality.
Support with nutrition-related problems.
A holistic view of animal health.
Originally, I am a trained office management assistant and studied industrial engineering. This means I come from a scientific-technical background and worked in business for over 15 years, including various positions in business development.
In parallel, I built my own camper rental business over six years.
Road-Buddies Camper Rental Katrin Linnemann on LinkedInAs a passionate nature lover, I spend a large part of my life in a camper – together with my dog – traveling across Europe.
In my rental business, animals were always at the center: We deliberately preferred to rent to people with dogs, because for us, the animal is not a nuisance but a family member.
I want to use all this knowledge and experience to show you the path to self-employment too. Together, we build something of our own – step by step and with real value.
